“ Funky, retro looking place with long wait time. Get here early if you dont want to wait more than an hour like I did. Besides the wait, the bagel was hands down one of my favorite in LA and Ive tried Courage, Brooklyn Bagels, Maurys, Calic, etc. The BEC was phenomenal, I didnt think it would be that good but everything was great. The cheese was gooey, the bacon was crunchy, the egg was soft, the bagel was the perfect crunch on outside, soft on the inside. Will be back 910 ”
“ Id been wanting to go to Belles for months and my sistersinlaw brought me here for my birthday. The vibe is lowkey and reminiscent of an old diner. We ordered ahead and sat at the bar to eat. I had the North of York, which is their version of avocado toast, and it was delicious. Excited to try other things on the menu! ”
“ My fiance and I have been coming to Belles since the pandemic, where you could only get bagel sandwiches to go outside. This business was hit hard during the pandemic in the middle of the refurbishment inside, so I imagine they were trying to survive off of the togo business while they finished renovations after everything started to reopen. The result is a buzzy, hip deli and bar that basically looks like if Canters had a hipster child. The Westlake sandwich was messy and delicious, although the slaw made it soggy really fast. Fried pickles are perfectly crispy and go great with the ranch. If you have two people, its cheaper to order your sandwiches with a standalone order of fries if you want fries choice of thin or steak. Cup of broth was flavorful and comes in a mug. Had the amaro spritz cocktail and it was tasty. Pro tip sit at the bar and order everything there if there is a long line for the front counter. Will definitely be coming back! ”

“ Post renovation, Belles has positioned itself as the quintessential jewish diner in LA. Everything is perfect, from the wall art to the counter ordering. We got two sandwiches and a Matzo Ball soup. The soup was delicious, a perfect hangover cure. And the pastrami sandwich was the best I have ever had outside of NYC. I think its equally good as Katz, which, if you know Katz Deli is saying a lot... The vibe is great, the food is great, cant wait to go back and try a bagel. ”

“ Wow what a spot we discovered by accident . Walking around acne across this spot and after looking at the reviews we had to try ! The line was out the door but moved pretty quick. We ordered for the dine in got two bagels . The vegan one with cashew cream cheese and beets and a regular bagel with beet cream cheese! Made fresh and it was delicious ! They put a good amount of cream cheese and the toppings are so nice and delicious ! Will definitely come back to try more ! !! ”
“ Really cute and modern restaurant that serves delicious breakfast and lunch, the line was a little long on a Saturday at noon but moved very quickly and found seating really fast. The tuna sandwich had a wonderful amount of tuna salad in it and the bacon on the BECA was perfectly crispy! Will definitely be back to enjoy again! ”
